“Quiet and relaxing ”

“Location is really nice, view is super, beds were comfortable. We mostly enjoyed our stay. Probably won't stay again due to few small things that really diminished the overall experience and stress. We could not wash our clothes, big deal for a family packing limited clothes. Washer and dryer look to be from 1982. Electric stove worked but we could never get the pans hot enough to cook food in a timely manner. The dishwasher leaked, it was newer model but we got through that one.Should address……

“We really enjoyed our two night stay here! The cabin was very nice, spacious and extremely clean. The bathroom was large, with a nice size shower and double sinks. There was a mini fridge with freezer, which was useful. The check-in process was very easy and host communicated very well and responded to questions right away. The restaurant with a bar was just a few feet away, making it very convenient, and was welcoming with a wide variety of foods and drinks. ”

“We had a great stay the host was super nice and helpful. They were very attentive and help resolve any questions quickly. We enjoyed the location. The rooms were very clean except for cobwebs and corners. But overall the bathroom and kitchen and everything else was super clean. Very cute older location, out in the country side. So nice. I would highly recommend this stay. (The bar below had a great Friday Fish Fry)”

“We had a very nice time at the A-frame. You can tell the owners pay a lot of attention to the details and had everything we needed and more! Things like yoga mats, outdoor and indoor games, and all kinds of pots and pans, as well as cooking implements like a mixer and milkshake maker were great. The decor is impeccably done and adds a nice eclectic style to the house. The location was convenient to Skaneateles, which was where we spent a good amount of our time. We would definitely return.”

“We have had four years of amazing girl weekends at this beautiful home! It's is a beautifully decorated home with an amazing view. When it is warm enough, the hot tub is amazing. We have so many beautiful memories in this home”

“It was the perfect spot for our October family gathering. Unfortunately, the lake was on the dry side so those who kayak were a bit disappointed. No fault of the host. The rooms were spacious and spotless. Highly recommend!”

“Far exceeded our expectations. Supplied most of our needs plus! Had plenty of room for everyone. The deck was such a treat overlooking the lake and made for a super relaxing retreat whether enjoying an early morning cup of coffee or late evening view of the lake and wildlife. Of course swimming and kayacking was a major highlight. The grandkids loved it and asked if we were going again next year!!! It was easy contacting the host for any issues. You will be amazed at the woodwork display……

“Although I lived in New York state for a while, I never visited the finger lakes. Don't let the "diminutive" size of Otisco Lake fool you: this home, lake, and view are amazing. It was extremely peaceful. Great for fishing from the dock, reading from the deck, or taking the canoe onto the lake. I highly recommend this spot for families or for an adult getaway.”
